UNARMED MARINERS / MARINHEIROS DESARMADOS (Gerador / Manifest, 2024) and MARINS DÉSARMÉS (Atlantiques Déchainés, 2026) are bilingual collections of poems, translated into Portuguese by H. Lopes and into French by C & S Renard - poems about history, ports, migration, memory, and the sea. In addition, Alecia's poetry has appeared in a broad spectrum of literary journals, including The Caribbean Writer, Metamorphoses, and the Journal of Postcolonial Writing. ​
